Servicepauschale

The Servicepauschale is a flat-rate compensation system in Germany for freelance professionals and entrepreneurs, often referred to as freelancers or self-employed individuals. This system was introduced as part of the German tax reform in 2009 to simplify the taxation of income generated from freelance work.

Under the Servicepauschale system, freelancers can opt to pay a fixed annual rate, rather than reporting and paying taxes on each individual client or project.
