Sekundärspänningen

Sekundärspänningen, in Swedish, translates to secondary voltage. This term is commonly used in the context of electrical transformers. A transformer is a passive electrical device that transfers electrical energy from one circuit to another through electromagnetic induction. It typically consists of two or more coils of wire, known as windings, which are electrically insulated from each other but are placed close to each other to allow magnetic coupling.

When an alternating current flows through the primary winding, it creates a fluctuating magnetic field in the transformer's core. This magnetic field then induces an alternating voltage in the secondary winding. The ratio of the number of turns in the primary winding to the number of turns in the secondary winding determines the relationship between the primary voltage and the secondary voltage. If the secondary winding has more turns than the primary winding, it is a step-up transformer, and the secondary voltage will be higher than the primary voltage. Conversely, if the secondary winding has fewer turns, it is a step-down transformer, and the secondary voltage will be lower. This ability to change voltage levels makes transformers essential components in power distribution systems, electronic devices, and many other electrical applications. The sekundärspänning is the voltage present across the output terminals of the secondary winding.
