Sekundärlindning

Sekundärlindning refers to the secondary winding of a transformer. A transformer is an electrical device that transfers energy between two or more circuits through electromagnetic induction. It typically consists of two coils of wire, known as windings, which are electrically insulated from each other but magnetically linked by a common iron core. The primary winding is connected to the input voltage source, and the secondary winding is connected to the load where the transformed voltage is delivered.

The voltage and current in the secondary winding are determined by the ratio of the number of turns in the secondary winding to the number of turns in the primary winding. If the secondary winding has more turns than the primary winding, the transformer is a step-up transformer, increasing the voltage. Conversely, if it has fewer turns, it is a step-down transformer, decreasing the voltage. The current in the secondary winding is inversely proportional to the voltage change, assuming ideal conditions with no energy loss. The secondary winding is crucial for adapting voltage levels to suit various applications, from powering household appliances to transmitting electricity over long distances.
