Segamiseedastus

Segamiseedastus, also known as multicast, is a network communication method where a single data stream is sent from one source to multiple, specific recipients simultaneously. Unlike broadcast, which sends data to every device on a network, or unicast, which sends data to a single recipient, segamiseedastus targets a predefined group of devices. This is achieved by using special multicast IP addresses, which range from 224.0.0.0 to 239.255.255.255.

When a device wishes to receive a segamiseedastus stream, it joins a specific multicast group using protocols like the Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP). Once a device has joined a group, the network infrastructure routes the data packets addressed to that group's IP address to all members of that group. This efficient method conserves bandwidth and network resources, as only one copy of the data needs to be transmitted by the source, regardless of the number of recipients.

Common applications of segamiseedastus include live video streaming, online gaming, stock market data distribution, and software updates for multiple devices. Its ability to efficiently deliver data to a select audience makes it a valuable tool for modern network communication.
