Sebességtörvény

Sebességtörvény is the Hungarian term for rate law, a fundamental concept in chemical kinetics. It describes the relationship between the rate of a chemical reaction and the concentrations of the reactants. A rate law is typically expressed in the form of Rate = k[A]^m[B]^n, where "Rate" is the speed at which the reaction proceeds, "k" is the rate constant (which is temperature-dependent), "[A]" and "[B]" represent the molar concentrations of reactants A and B, and "m" and "n" are the reaction orders with respect to A and B, respectively. These reaction orders, m and n, are experimentally determined and are not necessarily equal to the stoichiometric coefficients of the reactants in the balanced chemical equation. The overall order of the reaction is the sum of the individual orders (m + n).
