Scrie

Scrie is a Romanian verb meaning "to write." It is used to express the act of producing written text, whether by hand, with a pen or keyboard, or in other media. It takes a direct object for what is written (for example, a letter, a book, a note) and can be used with prepositions to indicate topic (a scrie despre istorie) or language (a scrie în română). In everyday speech, it appears in phrases such as "eu scriu o scrisoare" or "ea scrie un articol." In imperative, it can stand alone as "scrie!" meaning "write!" The verb also figures in figurative senses, such as writing code or composing music.
