Schützenkönigin
Schützenkönigin is the title given to the female winner in shooting competitions within German Schützenvereine (marksmen's guilds). The term is the feminine counterpart to Schützenkönig and is awarded in many regions during the annual Schützenfest, a traditional marksmen’s festival. The practice has its roots in medieval and early modern German shooting traditions, where citizen militias organized target shooting to maintain marksmanship and social cohesion.
