Schreckhorn
The Schreckhorn is a prominent peak in the Bernese Alps of Switzerland. Its name, translating to "Fright Peak," hints at its challenging and imposing nature. It is located in the Bernese Oberland region, east of Grindelwald, and is the third highest peak in the Bernese Alps after the Finsteraarhorn and the Jungfrau. The Schreckhorn's massif is shared between the cantons of Bern and Valais. Its elevation is 4,078 meters (13,379 feet) above sea level.
