Schmierstoffzuführung refers to the system and methods used to deliver lubricating oil or grease to critical friction points within a machine or engine. This is a vital function for reducing wear, dissipating heat, and preventing seizure. Pressure lubrication systems, such as those using oil pumps, actively force lubricant to specific points under pressure, providing a more controlled and efficient supply. Centralized lubrication systems automate the delivery of lubricant to multiple points from a single reservoir, reducing manual labor and ensuring consistent lubrication.
