SchleiOstsee
SchleiOstsee refers to the geographic and ecological relationship between the Schlei inlet, a narrow fjord-like waterway in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, and the adjacent portion of the Baltic Sea, known in German as the Ostsee. The Schlei begins near the town of Schleswig and opens into the Baltic Sea between the island of Rügen and the mainland peninsula of Wesselbeke. It is approximately 20 kilometres long and 1.5 kilometres wide at its widest point. The inlet acts as a natural harbor for small boats and is surrounded by cliffs, salt marshes, and agricultural land.
