Satipahna

Satipahna, more correctly transliterated as Satipaṭṭhāna, is a Buddhist term referring to the practice of establishing and maintaining continuous mindful awareness. It is central to Theravāda Buddhism and is taught in various forms across Buddhist traditions, based on early suttas in the Pali canon.

The practice is organized around four foundations: mindfulness of the body, feelings, mind, and mental phenomena.
