Satelliit is a private aerospace company headquartered in Helsinki, Finland, that designs and manufactures small satellites for scientific and commercial applications. The firm was founded in 1995 by a group of engineers from the Finnish Defence Forces and quickly developed a reputation for delivering cost‑effective, high‑performance satellite platforms. Its flagship product line, the Satelliit Minisat, consists of modular payload buses that can be configured for Earth observation, telecommunications, or space science missions.

In the early 2000s, Satelliit partnered with the European Space Agency to supply secondary payloads for the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service program. The company also secured a contract in 2011 to build a constellation of a dozen microsatellites for the Arctic research consortium, which monitored sea ice changes with unprecedented spatial resolution.

Satelliit’s growth has been fueled by a focus on open‑source design principles and rapid prototyping. The company has built its own launch integration facility in Espoo and has repeatedly collaborated with Finnish and Russian launch providers to place its satellites into low‑Earth orbit.
