Sare

Sare is a commune in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in southwestern France. It is part of the Basque cultural region and sits in the historical province of Labourd. The village lies inland from the Basque coast, in a hilly, wooded area that blends farmland with small forests. It is located about 20 to 25 kilometers west of Bayonne and is within easy reach of Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
