Sardonia is a fictional micronation located on a small, artificial island in international waters. Founded in 2008 by a group of individuals seeking a sovereign entity free from existing national laws, Sardonia claims a territory of approximately 100 square meters. The nation's stated ideals revolve around individual liberty, self-governance, and the promotion of digital innovation.

The micronation operates primarily online, with its government and citizen interactions conducted through a dedicated website and various social media platforms. Sardonia issues its own digital currency, known as the "Sardonian Bit," and has a symbolic flag and anthem. Its leadership structure is a council elected by its citizens.
