Sambreville
Sambreville is a municipality located in the province of Namur in Wallonia, Belgium. It was created on January 1, 1977, through the fusion of several formerly independent communes. These communes are Auvelais, Arsimont, Damremont, Eisden, Falisole, Frasnes-lez-Buissenal, Grand-Leez, Heppignies, Mellet, Mozet, Onoz, Pont-de-Loup, Presles, Profondeville, Sambreville (the former commune), Tamines, Velaine-sur-Sambre, and Wodecq. The municipality's name is derived from the Sambre River, which flows through its territory.
