Saipan
Saipan is the largest island of the Northern Mariana Islands, a U.S. commonwealth in the western Pacific. Located about 120 miles north of Guam, it is the seat of the CNMI government and the island’s principal population center. The island is a volcanic landmass with limestone features, surrounding reefs, and several beaches, including the popular Micro Beach. The highest point is Mount Tapochau, which rises above the island’s rugged terrain. Nearby islets such as Managaha are popular for day trips.
