STROBEohjeita
STROBEohjeita refers to the Finnish adaptation of the STROBE guidelines, which aim to improve the reporting of observational studies in epidemiology. The guidelines provide a checklist intended to enhance transparency, completeness, and comparability of published research, facilitating critical appraisal and synthesis. They apply to the main observational study designs: cohort, case-control, and cross-sectional studies. The checklist covers items across the manuscript structure, including the title and abstract, introduction, methods, results, and discussion. Key elements include explicit description of study design, setting, participants, variables, data sources and measurement, bias and study size, quantitative methods, main results, limitations, generalizability, and funding sources.
STROBEohjeita were developed by an international group of epidemiologists and statisticians and published as the STROBE
Finnish researchers are encouraged to adhere to STROBEohjeita when reporting observational studies, as clear, complete reporting
