It primarily refers to the accumulated sediment found at the bottom of bodies of water, such as lakes, rivers, and coastal areas. This sediment is composed of fine particles like clay, silt, and organic matter that have settled over time.

The composition and thickness of SILtasoja can vary greatly depending on factors like water flow, proximity to shore, and the presence of biological activity.
