SD38
The SD38 is a diesel-electric locomotive designed for freight rail service. Built by Electro-Motive Division (EMD), Mooreburg Cartage (MC) was its supplier. Production occurred between 1957 and 1963. The locomotive is the DC traction version of the EMD SD7. It can be distinguished visually from its AC counterpart, the SD9, by the former's bright distance light above its headlight and its rear-end access panel.
