Sügavpaki is an Estonian term that translates to "deep package" or "deep packet" in English. It refers to a technique in computer networking where network devices, such as firewalls or intrusion detection systems, inspect the actual content of data packets passing through them, not just the header information. This allows for more granular control and analysis of network traffic.

In traditional packet filtering, devices examine information like source and destination IP addresses, port numbers, and protocol types.
