Säkerhetsbrytarsystem, often translated to safety interlock systems, are crucial components in industrial and automation settings designed to prevent hazardous situations by ensuring that specific conditions are met before a machine or process can operate or continue. These systems are fundamental to workplace safety, protecting personnel from injury and equipment from damage.

The core principle behind a säkerhetsbrytarsystem is its ability to monitor the status of safety devices. These devices can include guard doors, light curtains, emergency stop buttons, and safety mats.
