Röntgenilmaisun, often translated as X-ray detection or radiography, refers to the process of using X-rays to create an image of the internal structure of an object. This technique relies on the differential absorption of X-rays by different materials. When a beam of X-rays passes through an object, denser materials like bone absorb more X-rays than less dense materials like soft tissue. The X-rays that pass through are then captured by a detector, which can be photographic film or a digital sensor.
