RyxNode
RyxNode is a decentralized computing platform that enables users to share idle processing power for distributed tasks. Developed by the open‑source organization Ryx Labs, it launched publicly in 2023 as a fork of the Catalyst Project, aiming to improve on its predecessor’s scalability and consensus efficiency. The system uses a proof‑of‑resource (PoR) mechanism, where participants earn RyxTokens by contributing CPU cycles, GPU memory, or network bandwidth. Transactions are executed on a privacy‑preserving blockchain, and PoR consensus is validated through random sampling of active nodes.
Core components of RyxNode include the RyxCore daemon, a lightweight client that runs on Linux, Windows, and
Since its release, RyxNode has attracted a community of 4,500 active nodes, contributing an estimated 120 petaflops
