Rotmanganitsch is a rural locality situated in the western part of the eastern Adygea Federation within the Russian Federation. It lies at an elevation of approximately 350 metres above sea level, positioned near the basin of the Vaga River. The settlement is historically linked to the expansion of the Trans-Caspian Railway in the late 19th century, which facilitated the movement of agricultural produce from surrounding plains.

Demographic data from the 2010 Russian Census recorded a population of 512, primarily composed of ethnic Adyghe, Russian, and Kabardian groups. The local economy remains largely agrarian, with emphasis on dairy farming and small-scale vegetable cultivation. In recent years, the community has pursued modest eco-tourism initiatives, leveraging its scenic surroundings and traditional crafts.
