Rostrum-shaped is an adjective used in anatomy and morphology to describe something that has the form of a rostrum—a forward-projecting, beak-like extension on the head or anterior region of an organism. The term comes from the Latin rostrum, meaning beak.

In morphological description, rostrum-shaped refers to a projection that is typically slender or pointed and extends anteriorly. The exact shape can vary from acute and curved to tapering and horn-like.
