Roederer
Roederer refers to Louis Roederer, a French champagne house based in Reims. It is one of the oldest and most respected houses in the Champagne region and has remained under family ownership for much of its history. The house traces its origins to the late 18th century and grew in reputation for consistent quality and careful aging of its wines. A key milestone was the creation of the Cristal prestige cuvée in 1876, produced at the insistence of Tsar Alexander II of Russia; the bottle’s clear glass was designed to convey the wine’s purity and quality.
