Rockville

Rockville is a city in Montgomery County, Maryland, United States. Located in the central part of the county within the Washington metropolitan area, it is the county seat and has grown as a suburban community with a mix of residential neighborhoods, business districts, and civic institutions.

As of the 2020 census, Rockville had a population of about 68,000. The city operates under a mayor-council form of government and maintains a variety of services through a combined city and regional planning approach. The economy combines government-related agencies, technology and life sciences firms, retail, and education.

Transportation: Rockville is served by the Washington Metro Red Line (Rockville station), Interstates 270 and 495 nearby, and the MARC commuter rail network (Rockville station on the Brunswick Line).
