Restorierungsflicken

Restorierungsflicken, also known as restoration patches, are materials used to repair and reinforce damaged areas in various objects, particularly in historical artifacts, textiles, paper, and furniture. The primary goal of using a restorierungsflicken is to stabilize the object, prevent further deterioration, and often, to visually reintegrate the damaged area without compromising the integrity or historical authenticity of the original piece.
