Reisimugavus is the overall ease and comfort experienced during travel, encompassing physical comfort, usability, safety, and satisfaction across the journey from planning to arrival. It is influenced by the choice of transport mode, accommodation, and services, and can vary between individuals and contexts.

Key components of reisimugavus include physical comfort, such as ergonomic seating, adequate legroom, climate control, and reduced noise and vibration; operational convenience, including simple booking processes, smooth check-in, efficient boarding, and easy luggage handling; information access, with clear signage, multilingual support, and reliable digital guides; and accessibility, covering inclusive design and accommodations for travelers with reduced mobility. Emotional and social factors, such as perceived safety and the responsiveness of staff, also contribute.

Measurement and design approaches combine subjective assessments from surveys and experience indices with objective indicators like seat width and pitch, cabin pressure and humidity, temperature range, air quality, noise levels, and ride stability.
