Redman

Redman, born Reginald Noble on April 17, 1970, is an American rapper, actor, and producer. Originating from Newark, New Jersey, he rose to prominence in the early 1990s as a solo artist within the East Coast hip hop scene and as a member of the rap duo with Method Man. He is known for his humorous, sly wordplay and dense, bass-heavy production.

Redman released several influential solo albums beginning with Whut? Thee Album (1993) and Dare Iz a Darkside (1994), followed by Muddy Waters (1996). He achieved mainstream visibility through collaborations with Method Man, including the duo's album Blackout! (1999) and subsequent projects. In addition to music, he pursued acting and producing, appearing in film and television projects and stars in the stoner comedy How High (2001) opposite Method Man.

Beyond his music, Redman has been involved in television production and has continued to perform and collaborate with other artists across genres. He is regarded as a key figure in 1990s hardcore and humorous hip hop, with influence on later generations of MCs for his delivery and comic approach.
