The term is not tied to a single domain and is typically clarified by context, such as "receiver-related parameters" or "receiver-related processing."

In electronics and radio engineering, "receiver-related" commonly refers to elements and performance metrics in the receiver chain, including the antenna, RF front end, mixer, IF filter, demodulator, and automatic gain control. Typical receiver-related specifications include sensitivity, selectivity, noise figure, linearity, dynamic range, input impedance, and interference tolerance. The term also appears in testing, alignment, and characterization procedures that focus on how well the receiver interprets incoming signals.
