Reanaliza

Reanaliza is the third-person singular present indicative form of the Spanish verb reanalizar, meaning to analyze again or to reassess. It is used when a subject is performing a renewed examination of data, conclusions, or findings in the present tense.

Grammatical notes: Reanalizar is a regular -ar verb. Other present tense forms include yo reanalizo, tú reanalizas, él/ella/usted reanaliza, nosotros reanalizamos, vosotros reanalizáis, ellos/ellas/ustedes reanalizan. The yo form reanalizo uses a spelling change from -zar to -c to preserve the hard c sound before the i. Example sentences: “La comisión reanaliza los datos.” “Ella reanaliza su hipótesis para buscar errores.”

Etymology and usage: The word combines the prefix re- (again) with analizar (to analyze). It is commonly used in scientific, academic, journalistic, and evaluative contexts to indicate that an existing analysis is being revisited or updated in light of new information.
