Ravinnesarjojen

Ravinnesarjojen, often translated as nutrient series or nutrient chains, describes the flow of energy and nutrients through different trophic levels in an ecosystem. This concept is fundamental to understanding how organisms interact within their environment and how energy is transferred from producers to consumers.

At the base of every ravinnesarjojen is the producer level, typically plants or algae, which convert light energy into chemical energy through photosynthesis.
