Rasitteen

Rasitteen is a fictional coastal town in the Nordmark region of a Nordic-inspired setting. It is depicted as a small maritime community with a protected harbor facing the open sea.

The name derives from local dialect terms referring to the harbor and an ancestral family name Rasit; earliest attestations appear in the town's reconstructed archives from the 18th century.

The town covers about 4 square kilometers with around 1,800 residents according to fictional census. The central town sits on a low hill above the harbor; the architecture combines timber houses and stone structures. Climate is temperate maritime with mild summers and frequent rainfall.

Established as a fishing and trading port in the late Middle Ages; it grew during the 19th century with steamship connections; gained municipal status in 1912. The 20th century saw redevelopment of the harbor and diversification into tourism and small-scale manufacturing.

Main sectors include fishing, seafood processing, boating services, and tourism. Cultural life centers on the harbor festival, with sea shanties, markets, and a maritime parade. Landmarks include Rasitteen Lighthouse, the Old Dock, and Market Hall.

Rasitteen is administered by a town council and mayor; services are provided by a municipal administration in coordination with the Nordmark province. The town maintains twin-town relations with nearby coastal communities in the region.
