Rarvon

Rarvon is a town and municipal district in the fictional country of Veridia, located in the Northmark region. It lies in the Rar Valley at the confluence of the Lark and Wren rivers, roughly 60 kilometers north of the national capital. The municipality covers about 120 square kilometers and had an estimated population of 11,000 in 2020. The area has a temperate climate with four distinct seasons and about 700 millimeters of annual precipitation.

History of Rarvon begins as a late 18th-century trading post established by settlers from nearby districts. It grew significantly after the arrival of the Frederic Railway in 1885, which connected the town to broader markets and cemented its role as a regional hub. Rarvon was incorporated as a municipality in 1902.

Economy and infrastructure center on agriculture, notably dairy farming and grain production, complemented by small-scale manufacturing and services. Major local employers include a dairy cooperative, a food-processing facility, and educational and healthcare services. The town is connected by a regional highway (Route 22) and a passenger rail line; the nearest airport lies about 40 kilometers away.

Education and culture in Rarvon include the annual Rar Harvest Festival, which draws residents and visitors to regional crafts and foods. Institutions include the Rarvon Museum of Local History and a public library. Rarvon Community College provides vocational and continuing education opportunities for the surrounding area.

Governance is administered by a mayor and a nine-seat town council, responsible for local services, planning, and bylaws. Notable residents have included professionals in education, engineering, and the arts, reflecting a diverse community profile.
