Construction booms typically involve heightened construction projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. In Finland, such booms have historically been tied to post-war recovery, urbanization waves, and periods of economic stability. For example, the 1950s–1970s saw significant construction activity as Finland modernized its infrastructure and housing stock. More recently, urban areas like Helsinki, Espoo, and Tampere have experienced renewed growth due to immigration, housing shortages, and government incentives for development.

While construction booms stimulate employment and economic activity, they also present challenges.
