RNAmolekyle is a term that combines "RNA," the nucleic acid, and "molekyle," the German word for molecule. Therefore, RNAmolekyle refers to a ribonucleic acid molecule. RNA is a crucial biomolecule essential for various biological processes, including coding, decoding, regulation, and expression of genes. Unlike DNA, RNA is typically single-stranded and contains the sugar ribose instead of deoxyribose. Uracil is present in RNA, replacing thymine found in DNA.
