RDD1
RDD1, or Resident Display Driver 1, is a software component in the Windows operating system responsible for managing the display of the desktop environment. It is part of the Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) and serves as an intermediary between the Windows graphics subsystem and the display adapter's driver. RDD1 handles tasks such as rendering the desktop, managing windows, and processing input from the keyboard and mouse. It is designed to work in conjunction with other display drivers, such as the User Mode Display Driver (UMDD) and Kernel Mode Display Driver (KMDD), to provide a seamless and efficient display experience. RDD1 is typically updated with new versions of Windows to improve performance, add new features, and fix bugs. It is not intended to be directly accessed or modified by users, as it is a critical system component.
