RCBOyhdistelmä, short for Residual Current Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent protection, is an electrical safety device designed to protect circuits from both overload and short circuits, as well as providing earth leakage protection. It combines the functions of a residual current device (RCD) and a miniature circuit breaker (MCB) into a single unit. This integration offers a more compact and efficient solution for electrical installations compared to using separate RCDs and MCBs.

The residual current component of an RCBOyhdistelmä detects imbalances in current flow between the live and neutral conductors.
