Qoms

Qoms is a term used to refer to residents of Qom, a city in north-central Iran, or to topics connected with the city and its province. Qom city is the capital of Qom Province and is located roughly 125 kilometers south of Tehran. It is one of Iran's oldest urban centers and a major hub of Shia religious scholarship. The city is home to the Shrine of Fatima al-Ma'suma, a site of pilgrimage for Shia Muslims, and to the Hawza of Qom, one of the most important centers of Shia religious education.

The broader Qom Province includes the city and surrounding rural districts, with agriculture, industry, and trade
