Qaiyamat

Qaiyamat is an Islamic term referring to the Day of Resurrection or the Day of Judgment. It signifies the end of the world and the subsequent accountability of all beings for their deeds. The concept is a fundamental element of Islamic eschatology, emphasizing the transient nature of worldly life and the eternal nature of the hereafter.

According to Islamic beliefs, Qaiyamat will be preceded by various signs, including moral decline, natural disasters, and the appearance of notable figures such as the Mahdi and the Dajjal (Antichrist). These signs serve as warnings for humanity to prepare for the impending event.

On the Day of Qaiyamat, the universe will be utterly transformed. The dead will be resurrected from their graves to stand before Allah for judgment. Every individual's actions, both good and bad, will be weighed, and justice will be served without any injustice. Those deemed righteous will be rewarded with eternal paradise (Jannah), while those found guilty of evil will be punished in Hell (Jahannam).

Islamic teachings emphasize that knowledge of the exact timing of Qaiyamat is known only to Allah, and it is considered one of the unseen aspects of the divine realm. Belief in Qaiyamat is one of the six articles of faith in Islam, underscoring its importance in Muslim doctrine.
