Põletitüübid refers to different kinds of burners used for combustion. These devices are essential in many applications, from heating and cooking to industrial processes. The primary function of a burner is to mix fuel and an oxidizer, typically air, in the correct proportions to achieve efficient and controlled combustion.

There are several common categories of burners. Atmospheric burners are widely used in domestic gas stoves and water heaters. They rely on natural convection to draw in air for combustion, often resulting in a blue, stable flame. Premixed burners, also common in heating systems, mix fuel and air before the mixture reaches the combustion zone, leading to a more consistent and cleaner burn.

Forced draft burners utilize a fan to supply the air needed for combustion, allowing for greater control over the air-fuel ratio and higher combustion efficiency. This type is frequently found in industrial furnaces and boilers. Radiant burners, on the other hand, primarily transfer heat through infrared radiation. They are often used for surface heating or drying applications. Diffusion burners, where fuel and oxidizer mix in the combustion zone itself, are less common in everyday use but can be found in specialized industrial settings. The choice of burner type depends on factors such as the fuel used, the required heat output, efficiency needs, and safety considerations.
