Përshpejt

Përshpejt is the Albanian word for "accelerate" or "speed up." It is derived from the root word "shpejt," meaning "fast" or "quick." The prefix "për-" often indicates an intensification or completion of an action. Therefore, "përshpejt" literally translates to "to make faster" or "to increase speed."

In a physical context, përshpejt refers to the rate at which an object's velocity changes over time. This can involve an increase in speed, a decrease in speed (deceleration), or a change in direction. For example, a car accelerating from a stop sign uses përshpejt. Similarly, a cyclist pedaling harder uphill is also applying përshpejt.
