Pyöränopeusantureiden
Pyöränopeusantureiden, known in English as wheel speed sensors, are crucial components in modern vehicles. These sensors are responsible for measuring the rotational speed of a wheel. They typically employ either a magnetic encoder (often a toothed ring called a reluctor ring and a magnetic pickup) or an optical sensor. As the wheel rotates, the teeth on the reluctor ring pass by the magnetic pickup, generating a series of electrical pulses. The frequency of these pulses is directly proportional to the wheel's speed. Optical sensors work similarly but use light beams and a coded disc.
The data provided by wheel speed sensors is fundamental to several vital vehicle systems. The most prominent
