Purutabletit

Purabletit is a fictional mineral described in works set in the fantasy world of Eldoria. The name is a neologism formed from the verb purify and the common mineral suffix -tit, reflecting its reputed cleansing properties.

In the canonical descriptions, purabletit is a transparent to translucent silicate with a pale blue to colorless hue. It crystallizes in a tetragonal system, forms prismatic crystals, and has a vitreous luster. In fiction, its purity is measured by its refractive index and absence of inclusions.

Occurrence: Found in hydrothermal veins and volcanic districts, notably near the Verdant Peaks and in the Cindervale belt. It is described as rare but collectible in high-grade pockets within quartz-beryl associations.

Uses: Valued for purification properties; heated in purification chambers or used as a catalyst in cleansing rituals; reputed to remove impurities at the molecular level when paired with resonance crystals called aether cores.

History: First described in Eldorian mining chronicles and later compiled in The Compendium of Verdant Alchemy by archivist Ryn Dalor (742 in-world). Trade and mining are restricted to sanctioned guilds to prevent counterfeits.
