Pugnabat

Pugnabat is a Latin verb form meaning “he/she/it was fighting” or “he/she/it used to fight.” It is the imperfect active indicative of the verb pugnare, which means “to fight.” The form is 3rd person singular and is used to express ongoing or repeated past action in Classical Latin, such as background activity in a narrative.
