Prowler

Prowler is a name used for a variety of vehicles, vessels, and fictional characters. In military aviation, the EA-6B Prowler was a carrier-based electronic warfare aircraft flown by the United States Navy and Marine Corps from the late 1960s through the 2000s. The aircraft was designed to jam hostile radars, suppress enemy air defenses, and provide tactical electronic support to strike missions. It saw service in several conflicts and was progressively retired as newer systems entered service.

In naval history, the name Prowler has been used for Royal Navy ships, with more than one
