Proszowice

Proszowice is a town in southern Poland, located in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. It is the seat of the administrative district of Gmina Proszowice and Proszowice County. The town is situated on the Vistula River plain, approximately 25 kilometers northeast of Krakow.

Historically, Proszowice was a significant center. It was granted town rights in the 14th century.
