Prosjekthåndtering

Prosjekthåndtering, or project management, is the discipline of initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing the work of a team to achieve specific goals and meet specific success criteria. It involves applying knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet the project requirements. The core objective is to deliver the project on time, within budget, and to the required scope and quality.

Key phases in prosjekthåndtering include initiation, where the project is defined and authorized; planning, where the detailed roadmap is developed, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources; execution, where the actual work is performed; monitoring and controlling, where progress is tracked and deviations from the plan are managed; and closure, where the project is formally completed and delivered.

Various methodologies and frameworks exist to support project management, such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and PRINCE2, each offering different approaches to managing projects based on their complexity and nature.
