Produc

Produc is not a recognized standalone term in standard English. It is best understood as the common stem derived from the Latin pro-ducere, meaning “to lead forth” or “to bring forth,” which underlies a family of English words related to making or bringing into existence. The most familiar members of this family are produce (verb), production (noun), productive (adjective), producer, and product. The root also appears in other inflected forms such as producing and produced.

In English, the sequence pro-duc typically appears only as part of longer words; by itself it does

Usage notes: If you encounter “produc” in text, determine whether it is a simple misspelling of produce

Examples: Farmers sell their produce. The production of goods has increased. A film producer oversees the production.
